F.A.QHow much deposit do you require and why is the deposit non refundable? The amount due in deposit payment at the time of booking varies from one tour to another. We use your deposit to pay golf courses and accommodation providers in order for us to be able to guarantee your tee times and accommodation. Once we have committed to the courses and hotels, we will not be able to offer you a refund of any deposits paid should you have to cancel your tour or part thereof. Will I need a handicap certificate? Many of the courses you will play are considered to be reasonably difficult. Because of this, the majority of the courses have set their own rating of the maximum handicap they require for visitors to be able to play. This is generally 28 for lady’s and 24 for gents. You may be asked to produce proof of your handicap at the course and you should always bring your certificate with you. If you have any particular concerns of the standard expected at some of the courses then please contact us. Do we need Caddies and how can we book them? We highly recommend the use of Caddies on most of the courses we suggest in our itineraries. We will discuss this with you prior to booking your golf and will be happy to arrange the booking of caddies for you. The cost for a caddie is generally around £ 35.00 - £ 45.00 + tips depending on the course you are playing. As caddies are self employed, all payments should be made directly to the caddies in cash. Can we book ride on buggy’s? Traditionally, links courses in general do not allow the use of ride on buggy’s on their courses. In exceptional circumstances, if you suffer a disability and this can be supported by a medical certificate, buggy’s can be organised on a few of the courses we work with. Please let us know at the time of your enquiry if you must have access to a buggy and we will plan your tour accordingly. What happens if I have to cancel a tour?
